What Should Your College Student Do This Fall?

While businesses and their executives throughout the country are working through what should be their plans to salvage 2020, Colleges and Universities have, for the most part, been viewed by the public as “institutions of learning” and not truly subject to the harsh realities of business…. that is, until now.

Sadly however, so much of college attendance goes well beyond what can be controlled by face coverings and social distancing. While many colleges have proven themselves able to deliver online classes to their students, it is not possible to provide the many other facets of college that families and students expect in exchange for what they view as a considerable financial investment. It is clear that “distance learning” falls short in terms of what is the full college experience and its anticipated value.

The health risks associated with students returning to campus are high. The financial implications to the many, perhaps most, schools may be even higher. College and University Presidents and their Boards are now having to manage losing their “customers.”

College students and their families are also struggling with what to do. Decisions are yet to be made over the next months. None will be easy. Perhaps we can help.
